I am one of sales staffs working at Osaka branch of the BP Castrol corporation. I have been working since 2010. But now I must stop working and be overcome by depression about one year ago, because I have been accepting by power harassment by Mr. Oku, who is the branch manager in Osaka. Generally speaking, business performance is always effected by the area which the sales staff is given by his boss.
Now, I can come back to work, so I request Ms. Nagahama, the headman of our human department to do personnel change of Mr. Oku and be prepared for doing the return program to me. Also I request her the application as a work-related accident and the payment of the compensation money to me from both Mr. Oku and the company that has an administrative responsibility. Ms. Nagahama, however, refused my requests because She said that there was no power harassment to me through the investigation was done by the human department.
The British Petroleum provides that we have to keep the compliance and establish a code of ethics. Moreover, the company a legal obligation to protect the health, security and safety of the employee. It is very regrettable that not only the compliance but also a code of ethics have been broken by a person who has a big power and his post are kept dominantly in our company.
I want to come back to my work, but I cannot. The investigation by Ms. Nagahama is unfair and unreasonable, because She is just in charge of the control and the keeper administrative responsibility. She is afraid of blame of her administrative ability.
She notified that she would not cooperate with me to apply for a work-related accident and keep a secret to me of the investigation of Mr. Oku's power harassment. This is unfair to me and it is very clearly that an act in violation of the compliance and a code of ethics.
I have been under the unfair working circumstances now, it is very dangerous for me to come back to my working place where the perpetrator would be with me. So I could not come to work. Would you please understand my situation and ask your company to teach BP Castrol how to keep the compliance and guide the appropriate measure to reveal the usual, safety and comfortable circumstances for all workers.
